About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will support a high-impact Medicaid initiative for the State of Indiana, playing a key role in keeping the project running effectively.
  • This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in project operations, financial tracking, and team coordination.
  • You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders, gaining exposure to large-scale data and analytics work in the public sector.
  • We’re looking for someone who is proactive, accountable, and eager to learn—someone who doesn’t just complete tasks but helps drive the work forward.
  • Provide Jira administration and ongoing maintenance to support project execution
  • Create, manage, and close out tasks to ensure work is tracked and delivered efficiently
  • Monitor project budgets and proactively flag risks, trends, or inconsistencies
  • Support invoice analysis and financial tracking activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely time entry by coordinating with team members
  • Follow up and communicate with consultants and stakeholders to keep workstreams on track
  • Support overall project coordination and operational effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in operations or project management
  • Experience with project coordination and budget tracking/management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools
  • Prior work in government, healthcare, or data/analytics projects
