About the role

  • Develop and execute communication strategies that amplify the Rural Health Transformation Program’s (RHTP) impact across Indiana.
  • Create compelling content for public-facing channels.
  • Coordinate media outreach and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Support community engagement campaigns that build awareness of rural health transformation efforts.
  • Work closely with IDOH communications leadership and initiative teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • Strong written communication skills with experience producing content for diverse audiences
  • Experience in community outreach, media relations, or public affairs
  • Ability to manage multiple communication projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with public health or government communications preferred
