About the role
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Indiana’s Health Information Exchange modernization efforts under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and reporting across a complex multi-agency initiative.
- Work closely with health IT vendors, state agency partners, and leadership to ensure that interoperability investments align with CMS performance goals and federal reporting requirements.
- Navigate technical environments, facilitate cross-functional workgroups, and translate complex interoperability requirements into actionable project plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, health informatics, or information systems; master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of directly applicable project or program management experience in health IT, healthcare operations, or public health
- Working knowledge of healthcare data exchange, interoperability concepts, or HIE environments
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with government or federally funded health IT initiatives preferred.
