About the role
- Serve as the analytical lead supporting Indiana’s interoperability and Health Information Exchange investments.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Analyze current-state data exchange workflows, identify gaps and opportunities.
- Support the development of future-state specifications.
- Translate complex health IT requirements into actionable documentation that guides vendor implementation and system configuration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, health informatics, or information systems; master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of directly applicable experience in health IT, healthcare operations, or public health
- Working knowledge of healthcare data exchange, interoperability concepts, or HIE environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and requirements elicitation skills
- Experience creating business process models, data flow diagrams, or system specifications preferred
