About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You further develop the marketing strategy and are responsible for its implementation, working closely with executive management, sales and product management.
  • You sharpen brand and product positioning across clearly defined target customer segments in the manufacturing industry.
  • You build Account-Based Marketing: selecting and prioritizing target accounts together with sales, running account-specific campaigns and content, coordinating with account teams and measuring success at the account level.
  • You design and manage go-to-market initiatives for products, solutions and market segments.
  • You expand the thought-leadership position: content, formats, campaigns and speaker roles, for example around the "Systemblick" podcast.
  • You align marketing and sales on lead generation, pipeline development and conversion, and make impact visible using clear KPIs.
  • You strategically manage external communications and PR, and prioritize external service providers and agencies.
  • You further develop the employer positioning together with HR.
  • You lead, coach and develop your team and plan the marketing budget.
  • You report directly to executive management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in B2B software marketing, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Required: You have demonstrably built or managed Account-Based Marketing and understand practical execution—from account selection and orchestrated campaigns to per-account reporting.
  • Leadership experience and enthusiasm for developing a team.
  • Proven success in demand generation and go-to-market for complex, solution-based products with longer sales cycles.
  • Confident handling of marketing KPIs and common tools; we work with HubSpot.
  • Business-fluent German and English, including for collaboration with our US subsidiary.
  • Willingness to travel to our locations, trade shows and events.

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • Scope to shape the role: you will expand the marketing function rather than just maintain it.
  • Short decision-making paths and direct access to executive management.
  • A team that already covers the operational base: strategy, content, operations and events are staffed.
  • Remote working model with regular on-site presence at our locations and at events.
  • A product with a clear narrative and customers across the manufacturing industry, from SMEs to automotive OEMs.
  • A culture where colleagues address each other informally.
  • More than ten office dogs.
