Medical Science Liaison – Vaccines
CSLMedical Science Liaison providing medical information and support for Seqirus vaccines. Engaging with healthcare professionals and ensuring compliance with local regulations while traveling across Spain.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate new and other important approved medical content to targeted health care professionals (HCPs)
- Provide externally truthful, accurate and scientifically supported information in response to unsolicited medical requests from HCPs and other stakeholders
- Provide internally product and indication expertise for any Seqirus/CSL colleague
- Deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the designated medical strategy established by the Spanish, European and Global Medical Affairs team
- Facilitate communication between HCPs and HCOs, any healthcare decision maker and Medical Affairs colleagues
- Facilitate both Seqirus sponsored clinical trials, collaborative research, and investigator initiated research activities
- Facilitate and support Medical Affairs contribution to awareness and education of all stakeholders in close collaboration with internal functions
- Search actively for customer insights that contribute to the development of product medical strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Scientific Degree as Medical Doctor (MD) or PhD or Master in life science (e.g. pharmacy, biology, chemistry…)
- 3 years of relevant work experience, including 2 or more years of experience in clinical and/or health services education or research (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
- Experience in infectious diseases, epidemiology, vaccines and public health and the Spanish health care system
- Excellent and demonstrated use of modern communication, hard- and software and communication platforms (e.g. MS Office, internet-based mobile working, etc.)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Holds a driving license valid in Spain
- Required to be flexible in working hours
- Willingness for travelling throughout Spain and abroad; flexibility to travel up to 50-60% of time.
