About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support compensation planning and execution for Plasma functions, including base pay, incentives, offers, retention scenarios, and ad hoc business requests, ensuring alignment to global frameworks and market practices.
  • Conduct sophisticated compensation analyses, including market benchmarking, internal equity reviews, pay positioning, scenario modeling, and cost impact assessments, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations (PowerPoint and Excel-based) to communicate compensation insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Partner closely with the Regional Compensation Lead, Global Compensation COE and Global Benefits COE to implement Total Rewards programs, policies, and governance within the Plasma organization.
  • Support job evaluation and leveling activities for Plasma roles, ensuring alignment with CSL’s Career Framework and consistent application of compensation principles.
  • Advise on organizational design changes, growth investments, and transformation initiatives within Plasma, assessing compensation implications and risks.
  • Actively contribute to change management efforts, supporting communication, leader education, and adoption of new compensation programs or approaches impacting Plasma.
  • Ensure compliance with internal compensation policies, governance standards, and local regulatory considerations, escalating risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with HR Partners, Finance, and Plasma business leaders, operating as a credible thought partner rather than a transactional resource.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in a medium to large organization.
  • Strong expertise in job architecture, market pricing, incentive design support, and analytical compensation work.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with business leaders in a complex, operational, or commercial environment; experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or Plasma-related businesses strongly preferred.
  • Advanced capability in data analysis, modeling, and interpretation, with the ability to turn insights into recommendations.
  • Proven experience creating executive-level presentation materials that clearly articulate complex compensation topics.
  • Experience working within global compensation frameworks and matrixed organizations; Workday experience preferred.
  • Experience with compensation programs for hourly populations and/or retail preferred.
