About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and make formal assessments on alerts resulting from governmental watchlist screening
- Performs watch list screening and review of real time and post-transactional alerts for potential violations of governmental sanctions regulations
- Identifies alerts that warrant additional due diligence and escalates accordingly with documented reasoning
- Ensures aforementioned alerts are handled in accordance with defined policies and procedures
- Reports watchlist screening results to the client by compiling various reports and other documentation
- Performs quality control reviews of completed work
Requirements
What you’ll need- The minimum amount of relevant work experience required is at least two (2) years
- Undergraduate degree in a job-relevant field and/or formal training in such a field preferred
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree and/or training
- Preferred experience in watch list screening in a banking or financial services environment
- Must have technical proficiency in learning new software and hardware systems quickly
- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a strong attention to detail
