💰 $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the role
- Understands purchasing-related processes and general pharmacy warehouse responsibilities.
- Works closely with purchasing associates at sites for procurement/inventory processes and issues.
- Assists with DSCSA compliance and reporting.
- Orders medications and supplies using internal software and vendor platforms.
- Ensures infusion equipment meets regulatory standards.
- Maintains inventory and procurement tracking using Monday.com or similar.
- Conducts audits, prepares purchase orders, and handles accounts payable documentation.
- Supports 340B program coordination and pricing/contract compliance.
- Acts as backup to Director of Procurement for vendor communication, order processing, and PO tracking.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues as team members and to communicate effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Working knowledge of basic medical terminology is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Competence in Microsoft Office required, including Excel, Access, and Word.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Minimum 3 years medical or pharmacy experience or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in pharmacy warehouse or equivalent experience.
