About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, analyze, write, modify, and debug CSG product applications
Perform release testing and remediate identified deficiencies
Interface with end users to define requirements
Complete technical documentation
Assist with on-site client issues when required
Partner with team members on complex software development assignments
Develop software according to agreed requirements
Work with Business Analysts and customers to interpret requirements and remove ambiguity
Develop and execute unit tests against approved low-level designs
Develop implementation scripts and deploy software into test and production environments
Participate in team meetings and contribute to designs, issues, risks, interdependencies, and related discussions
Mentor colleagues in areas of expertise
Contribute knowledge to internal wikis and document management systems
Conduct team training sessions to exchange knowledge and experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience and expertise in Telecommunications Provisioning and Assurance domains
Proficiency in English in a business environment
3+ years of software development experience with modern Java SE 8+
Proficiency in Linux, macOS, and Docker development environments
Skills in SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MyBatis
Knowledge of Apache Kafka, GraphQL, and REST API frameworks
Knowledge of Business Process Management and rules libraries such as Camunda, Activiti, or Drools
Experience with development, packaging, and release toolchains such as GitHub, Maven, and Kubernetes
