About the role
- Understand the requirements to develop and maintain the automated tests using an existing automation framework
- Create and execute manual tests, accurately document test results, diagnose and create defects
- Identify data needed for both manual and automated tests and create new data or obtain existing data to meet the requirements of the test
- Involved with releasing software and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth deployments
- Assist in identifying root cause of issues, analyzing logs, and resolving defects
- Perform functional, application, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Develop a deep understanding of our application to understand complex feature requirements and identify gaps and edge cases
- Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment, collaborating with developers, testers, product owners and cross functional teams to continuously enhance the testing of applications
- Work independently in a cross-cultural environment, having 2-3 hours overlap with stakeholders in the US
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years’ work experience in a testing role with experience creating manual and automated tests
- Working knowledge of continuous integration, automated tools, industry standards, and best practices in test automation
- Experience testing web-based applications and API testing
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes
- Hands on experience with API testing tools – Postman/Bruno
- Programming/Scripting Language Knowledge - C#
- Testing Framework Experience - XUnit
- Database Testing working Experience with - SQL Server
- Technical experience in testing methodologies and procedures
- Knowledge of OOP concepts
- Ability to write SQL queries
