Follow CSG contract preparation and approval process requirements to draft, evaluate, and execute moderate to high complex contracts and related documents
Draft, evaluate, and execute customer and/or vendor contracts, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents supporting multiple internal lines of business
Take guidance from CSG attorneys and Legal management on non-routine contracts, including negotiating 3rd party paper contracts or redlines to CSG templates
Participate in RFPs, special projects and other transactions
Update and maintain CSG standard contract templates
Build and maintain constructive working relationships inside and outside the Legal department and participate in operational and tactical teams
Implement proactive and concise communication and act as a resource to colleagues
Develop understanding of areas of specialization within the company
Work effectively within CSG’s contract lifecycle management system
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
Paralegal education or certificate is desirable
A minimum of five (5) years of contract administration experience is strongly preferred
Previous experience negotiating vendor contracts is required
Previous experience in contract administration with a corporate company is strongly preferred
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of contract law, terms, and conditions
Solid analytical and assessment skills, including the ability to summarize results and conclusions concisely
High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated experience drafting simple contracts within prescribed templates and guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, customers, vendors, partners and third parties
Ability to work independently on routine responsibilities
Ability to operate in a fast-paced organization with competing priorities and time sensitive contract review and creation
Mid to Advance level Microsoft Word experience; proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
