About the role
- Responds to employee questions using standard scripts and guidelines to ensure consistent communication.
- Completes onboarding tasks such as document collection and data entry to support new hire integration.
- Maintains HRIS records by entering basic employee data to ensure system accuracy.
- Assists with employment form completion by following established procedures to support compliance.
- Provides basic benefits information by referencing FAQs and policy documents to help employees understand options.
- Routes complex inquiries to senior team members using escalation protocols to ensure timely resolution.
- Supports payroll processing by verifying timecard data to help ensure accurate compensation.
- Organizes HR files using naming conventions and retention schedules to maintain document integrity.
- Learns HR policies and procedures through training and shadowing to build foundational knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of HR principles and terminology
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Customer service orientation with clear communication skills
