About the role
- Maximize product value by owning the product backlog and serving as the key link between business stakeholders and engineering teams
- Define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer and business value
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure all features meet business objectives, usability expectations, and performance standards
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demos
- Participate in PI Planning, system demos, and release note reviews
- Serve as the primary liaison between product management and engineering teams
- Accept completed work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to manage dependencies and shared outcomes
- Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and key metrics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team velocity and quality
- Use data, experimentation, and feedback to continuously improve product outcomes
- Work with Services teams and customers, to deeply understand implementations and real-world usage patterns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into user stories and outcomes
- Experience working with data driven or AI enabled products
- Understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning models, data pipelines, model outputs, and limitations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with data science, engineering, and architecture teams
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience delivering AI/ML features in an enterprise or regulated environment
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles, data privacy, and model governance
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM certification
- Experience with enterprise platforms, APIs, and analytics tools
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
