About the role
- Serve as the compensation subject matter expert for assigned global business units and CALA countries including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and others.
- Contribute to global compensation initiatives and projects.
- Participate in the design and maintenance of compensation structures, salary bands, and job architecture in alignment with the company’s global frameworks and local market realities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build competitive and equitable offers in a fast-moving, technical hiring environment.
- Support the global compensation cycle (merit, bonus, promotions), ensuring an efficient process and seamless experience for managers and employees.
- Provide compensation modeling and guidance in high-inflation or volatile economies.
- Assist in pay equity reviews and help implement transparency strategies in line with evolving global expectations and local regulations.
- Educate and upskill HRBPs and business leaders on compensation principles, trends, and governance.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of compensation experience, including at least 3 years supporting CALA countries in a tech or high-growth global environment.
- Strong working knowledge of compensation practices and legal frameworks in CALA markets (e.g., statutory bonuses, allowances, salary caps, inflation indexing).
- Highly collaborative and able to build trusted relationships across HR, Finance, Legal, and with business leaders of various levels.
- Advanced Excel skills; comfortable building and explaining detailed comp models.
- Familiarity with compensation tools and survey platforms (e.g., Aon/Radford, Mercer/Comptryx, WTW).
- Project management skills and the ability to balance competing and rapidly changing priorities.
- Fluent in English.
