About the role
- Lead and execute analytics projects aligned with business priorities.
- Manage and mentor a small team of analysts while contributing individually.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data infrastructure using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across analytics workflows.
- Advocate for advanced cloud-based analytics platforms and AI adoption, where applicable.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, including 2+ years in a leadership or hybrid IC/manager role.
- Strong experience in Power BI and SQL.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Python, R, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience using Microsoft Fabric or other data integration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Payments industry experience is a plus but not required.
