About the role
- Plan quarterly testing calendars, owner engagement cadences, and change checkpoints to meet enterprise readiness goals.
- Maintain the Business Continuity activity schedule by tracking plan attestations, quarterly policy updates, and annual testing commitments to ensure compliance.
- Prepare audit evidence packages and respond to auditor inquiries to demonstrate adherence to Business Continuity standards.
- Coordinate responses to customer RFPs by compiling program practices and evidence to support new business proposals.
- Coach analysts on analysis, exercise facilitation, and validation techniques to build consistent capability across the team.
- Review plan quality and test evidence through structured peer reviews to increase assurance before audits or incidents.
- Support incident leaders by assigning liaisons and ensuring plan activation steps are followed to speed stabilization.
- Track remediation from tests and incidents through to closure to reduce recurring issues.
- Support ESG reporting activities by coordinating data inputs and contributing to annual disclosures as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in BCM, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience
- Experience managing teams and cross-functional programs
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Management principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST)
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and Business Impact Analysis processes
- Knowledge of SaaS tools for BCM (e.g., Fusion) and related technologies
- Knowledge of incident response, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating continuity risks and solutions
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders and leading exercises
- Project management skills to plan, execute, and track BCM activities and remediation
- Technical skills to leverage BCM tools and interpret system recovery requirements
- Documentation and reporting skills for audits, compliance, and leadership updates
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
