About the role

  • Learn and develop deep expertise in our billing systems over time.
  • Design and implement business support solutions within telecoms, cable and media clients.
  • Understanding of industry solutions – off the shelf products and managed service solution providers.
  • Will develop a deep understanding of CSG interface solutions.
  • Works with peers/customers to ensure end to end project business functionality of interface API’s are completed successfully from project scheduling, and design through implementation.
  • Accountable for ensuring the solution properly satisfies them that their business problems and requirements are met.
  • Ability to challenge approaches through thought-leadership to draw out the best solutions by providing consultation and solutions to improve customer’s business efficiencies and solve customer's business problems both within and beyond the scope of an existing project.
  • Bring awareness of potential new opportunities for adding more products and services back to CSG into the account.
  • Documents interface solutions, creates validation test scripts, and supports interface api upgrades, integrations, validations and implementations with clients and vendors.
  • Responsible for delivering feedback to the Product Management team to ensure that future releases of the products meet the ongoing needs of the customer/business.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology or equivalent experience required.
  • In-depth understanding of client needs and the broad impact of changes in the business environment and industry trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn complex systems and processes.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to consistently adhere to multiple deadlines and adapt to a frequently changing workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey and clarify complex information and consulting with customers and influencing others.
  • Solid understanding of project management and requirements management processes to ensure primary responsibilities are completed within accepted standards and templates.
  • Works independently and collaborates with peers when necessary.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience working with billing systems or similar platforms.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with software integration or technical support.
  • Nice to have: Familiar with SFTP and Communication Protocols, i.e., HTTPS, SOAP, VPN, etc.
  • Nice to have: Experience in supporting XML, JSON, and REST interface APIs.
  • Nice to have: Awareness of Agile Software development methodologies such as SAFe or KanBan
  • Nice to have: Basic knowledge of log observability tools such as Kibana.
