About the role
- Own the execution of the roadmap for Billpay solution
- Work with the Product executive, develop product requirements, and partner with the cross-functional team to take it to the finish line and contribute to product strategy, and vision by identifying market opportunities, market threats, industry trends, competitor and regulatory changes to position products and features to increase revenue
- Work closely with internal teams and when and where needed with external customers to understand and evaluate merchant needs utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to identify and prioritize customer paint points to solve issues or concerns
- Operate independently, with minimal supervision to effectively identify solution approaches, prioritizing features, and escalating appropriately
- Be responsible for managing Epics and collaborate closely with internal Agile teams in adding items to the product backlog
- Understand the P&L around the products they support and uses that information to influence project requirements and direction
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with change and ambiguity and is willing to collaborate with internal teams in problem solving while develop constructive working relationships that demonstrates CSG’s core competencies and values
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of prior Consumer or B2B2C product management experience for a Bill payment solution or FinTech product in an agile software development environment taking products from concept to launch and iterating through versions to improve the experience.
- Prior Bill Payments and/or Payment’s processing experience is a plus
- Have a BS / M.S in Computer Science or Math or science degree or software engineering experience required
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skill to precisely articulate the problem and benefit of a solution to both internal and external audience and can demonstrate attention to detail
- Has strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Prior experience using data to make decisions
- Has a sense of urgency to solve customer issues with strong interpersonal & organizational skills
- Has strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Extra consideration given for prior experience using design thinking framework to discover customer problems and to validate usability and value of proposed solutions
- Are proficient in English in a business environment.
