About the role
- Define and direct changes in business process, database, and data warehouse technologies
- Interact with application architects (at Director and Senior Manager levels)
- Design and implement database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
- Compare and analyze provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships, and problems
- Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
- Cross-validating models to ensure their generalizability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- Total of 15+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in English in a business environment
- 7+ years of experience with database resiliency, disaster recovery techniques, and failover capabilities
- Hands on Database Architecture, Data Modelling, AWS, PostgreSQL
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Architect
- Experience with the design and implementation of mainstream database solutions at an Architect level
- Proficient with Power BI
