💰 $30 - $35 per hour
About the role
- Assist in preparing plans, estimates and specifications for the construction of public works projects.
- Compile and review engineering data for reports and studies.
- Assist in resolution of engineering problems.
- Perform field measurements and inspections of public works projects.
- Develop and/or maintain databases, spreadsheets and reports to monitor performance of engineering projects.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus currently enrolled in Civil Engineering program from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of basic civil engineering principles and practices as applied to public works administration, design and construction.
- Ability to perform engineering computations and review existing engineering plans and studies.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, modeling and other design-aid software applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
