About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert-level leadership across multiple concurrent IT projects to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives
Manage large enterprise-type projects involving multiple internal stakeholders and contracted resources
Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and risk registers
Define user and project team roles, responsibilities, requirements, deliverables, and approval processes
Coordinate and monitor stakeholder activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
Lead end-to-end migration of on-premises Oracle data warehouse solutions to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Support tactical execution including resource management, project tracking, and oversight of final deliverables
Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve project challenges and drive alignment across workstreams
Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate-level project managers, including recommending training and development opportunities
Translate technical concepts, methodologies, and SDLC processes into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Must be local to Indiana or able to support onsite/hybrid requirements as needed
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management and digital transformation initiatives
Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects or portfolios across multiple business units and stakeholders
Proven experience leading cloud migration efforts, including data warehouse transformation initiatives
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems, and project management methodologies
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
Experience managing projects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of enterprise data platforms, including Oracle, PL/SQL, and modern cloud-based data tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, DataStream)
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
