About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert-level leadership across multiple concurrent IT projects to ensure successful delivery aligned with business objectives
  • Manage large enterprise-type projects involving multiple internal stakeholders and contracted resources
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and risk registers
  • Define user and project team roles, responsibilities, requirements, deliverables, and approval processes
  • Coordinate and monitor stakeholder activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end migration of on-premises Oracle data warehouse solutions to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Support tactical execution including resource management, project tracking, and oversight of final deliverables
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve project challenges and drive alignment across workstreams
  • Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate-level project managers, including recommending training and development opportunities
  • Translate technical concepts, methodologies, and SDLC processes into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Must be local to Indiana or able to support onsite/hybrid requirements as needed
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management and digital transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects or portfolios across multiple business units and stakeholders
  • Proven experience leading cloud migration efforts, including data warehouse transformation initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems, and project management methodologies
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
  • Experience managing projects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data platforms, including Oracle, PL/SQL, and modern cloud-based data tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, DataStream)
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
