About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple client deliverables while ensuring superior client service
- Prepare and/or review financial statements and support schedules under GAAP and other bases
- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and prepare and distribute letters
- Prepare investor allocations and partner capital statements
- Prepare and/or review waterfalls
- Handle investor and compliance reporting
- Interact with clients daily
- Operate within a matrix reporting structure for client services
- Complete internal responsibilities such as status reports and time tracking
- Review processes and recommend efficiency improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in private equity, partnership, or fund accounting
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading service delivery teams
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private fund structures
- Experience with SBA-regulated funds preferred
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools
- Ability to work the US shift
