About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing and creating balance sheets, profit-and-loss accounts and (audited) annual reports for the SPV’s
- Ensure compliance with Dutch/local GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
- Performing and analysing waterfall and derivatives/swap calculations
- Initiate payments through various payment platforms and ensure timely execution.
- Production of statutory accounts for all entities.
- Ensure all other regulatory reporting is timely submitted
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for all entities.
- Establish and maintain effective internal control systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws and guidelines.
- Working closely with other Financial Account Managers and Company Lawyers as well as with internal departments, external accountants, law firms, tax advisors.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment for the accounting team.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams across Finance and the Business, to support overall business objectives.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure the financial systems are up-to-date and effectively utilized.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or master’s degree in finance or accounting or Control/Auditing.
- Ideally Big 4 / Top 60 Practice trained prior to industry or relevant experience in structured finance.
- Progressive accounting/finance experience, including people management experience.
- Technically astute with Dutch GAAP Statutory Reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to interpret large data sets.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- A flexible self-starter who can adapt to organizational changes.
