About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and secure new business opportunities within law firms, from small boutique practices to large national or global firms.
- Cultivate a robust pipeline of prospects and close new business deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within law firms, including managing and expanding accounts with both existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand the legal industry’s needs, challenges, and emerging trends.
- Work closely with the product and solution teams to align our offerings with the specific needs of law firms.
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms that align with company objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a commercial role selling into law firms or other professional services industries (e.g., financial, accounting).
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth through strategic business development and solution-based selling.
- Deep understanding of the legal services industry, including law firm operations, challenges, and purchasing behaviors.
- Ability to engage in consultative, solution-oriented selling to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills, including navigating complex contracts and pricing discussions with senior-level clients.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
