About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and execution of the organization’s people analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and the business units to identify strategic goals and opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, providing guidance on the design and delivery of reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Prioritize and manage data projects to ensure the timely delivery of insights while maintaining a balanced and sustainable workload for the team.
- Establish and promote best practices for data access and consumption across the organization, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- Drive the adoption and integration of AI and machine learning to analyze complex workforce data, uncover trends, and enable proactive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key people metrics and KPIs to support continuous measurement of HR program effectiveness and workforce health.
- Present complex data-driven insights in a clear and compelling way to senior leadership and executives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of leadership experience, specifically managing teams in data, reporting, and analytics functions.
- Proven experience working within a data analytics function, with a track record of delivering impactful, data-driven recommendations and implementing analytics strategies.
- Proficiency with data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., SQL, Python), as well as data visualization platforms (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI); experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience applying AI and machine learning to workforce data to uncover insights and support predictive analytics.
- Strong understanding of core HR functional areas, such as talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices related to data access, governance, and security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and develop actionable solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Clear understanding of business objectives and how data can be leveraged to inform and drive organizational strategy.
