About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss accounts, and annual reports in line with Dutch GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, monitor transactions, and manage payment processes while ensuring timely filings and registrations with relevant authorities (Chamber of Commerce, Tax Authorities, Dutch Central Bank).
- Keep client entity records up to date and ensure compliance with local and international legislation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including advisors and authorities.
- Contribute to our reputation as a proactive provider of trust and corporate services.
- Act as a gatekeeper to safeguard the financial system and ensure compliance with WFT (“Wet Financieel Toezicht”) regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the trust sector, financial services, or accounting firms.
- Strong financial knowledge of accounting systems, bookkeeping, balance sheets, and financial reporting.
- An organized and structured approach to work.
- Experience in client service delivery.
- A team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
