VP of Corporate Development, Portfolio Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine CSC Generation's corporate development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, operational and financial due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.
- Lead post-acquisition operational integration, including aligning systems and processes, driving synergy realization, and implementing performance tracking across acquired portfolio companies.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential investment opportunities within the retail and consumer sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, investors, and potential partners.
- Identify and assess risks associated with potential transactions, and develop mitigation strategies to protect CSC Generation's interests.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the retail and consumer industries, with experience evaluating market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
- Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
