About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieves revenue objectives.
  • Builds brand value and market awareness and penetrates market with Active and Passive products.
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships and business with new and existing customers.
  • Builds relationships with partners’ sales teams to produce effective, strategic selling solutions.
  • Develops a structured sales plan to include the development and management of sales forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Clarifies and qualifies opportunities; develops proposals and makes formal presentations to potential clients.
  • Furthers CSafe value proposition and clearly communicates it in the target market with customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Maintains and communicates market knowledge, e.g., changes in customer environment and competitive landscape.
  • Utilizes the CRM to record opportunities and manage them through the sales funnel process until they are closed as won.
  • Develops and manages new business pipelines and ensures accurate quarterly and annual sales forecasting.
  • Manages existing key customer accounts and identifies opportunities for customer base expansion.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Develops market strategies with a balance of customer needs and company goals.
  • Provides competitive intelligence and market insights, particularly in Biologics and CGT markets.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree is preferred, but candidates with extensive experience (15+ years) in the field will also be considered.
  • 6+ years of successful solutions business-to-business selling or industry experience; life sciences industry preferred at pharma services, airline, freight forwarding/logistics companies.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical supply and services, Pharma CDMO, Biologics, Life Sciences, Packaging, Cold Chain Logistics, and Air Cargo areas desired.
  • Consistent and verifiable track record for achieving sales quotas and winning new customers.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with customers and internal team members.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Knowledge of complex sales tools such as “Strategic Selling.”
  • Goal orientated, highly enthusiastic, dedicated to excellence and biased toward action.
