About the role
- Lead the strategy, operations, and execution of digital experience design
- Shape the vision and delivery of intuitive, accessible, and customer-centered experiences
- Oversee a multidisciplinary UX organization
- Define and drive the enterprise UX strategy
- Lead UX direction for large-scale platform modernization
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Brand and CX to deliver experiences
- Establish clear goals and expectations
- Oversee the evolution and governance of a component-based design system
- Ensure teams deliver strong UX artifacts
- Serve as a senior UX representative in enterprise planning and decision-making forums
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of UX, product design, service design, or digital experience leadership, ideally within insurance, financial services
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
- Proven ability to lead others directly or indirectly, as demonstrated through 5+ years of leading teams, enterprise-wide programs
- Experience leading UX in complex enterprise environments, including platform modernization or large-scale systems transformation
- Deep expertise in design systems, interaction design patterns
- Proven ability to partner with engineering, architecture, and product leaders
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, systems design, and measurable impact
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
