About the role
- Own and review UK payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
- Support and coordinate France payroll, working closely with external providers and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee payroll processes for US employees, in collaboration with external partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll providers across all entities.
- Proactively identify discrepancies, anomalies or risks rather than reacting after issues arise.
- Ensure payroll data consistency with accounting records and internal reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of payroll processes and controls.
- Own accounts receivable operations, from invoice creation to cash collection.
- Manage Stripe: Create and maintain customer subscriptions, ensure correct billing configuration and pricing logic.
- Liaise closely with Sales and Account Managers to understand contract terms, customer context and billing specifics.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
- Investigate and resolve billing issues or customer disputes in a timely and structured manner.
- Ensure AR data is accurate, up-to-date and properly reflected in financial records.
- Contribute to improving AR processes, controls and reporting as the company scales.
Requirements
- You have 2 to 4 years of experience as an accountant
- Proven experience in payroll operations, ideally across multiple countries (France / UK / US).
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and revenue collection workflows.
- Comfortable working with Stripe; experience with Deel is a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Able to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales and Operations teams.
- Organised, autonomous and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
- Based in France and comfortable working in an international environment.
