About the role

  • Own and review UK payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
  • Support and coordinate France payroll, working closely with external providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee payroll processes for US employees, in collaboration with external partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll providers across all entities.
  • Proactively identify discrepancies, anomalies or risks rather than reacting after issues arise.
  • Ensure payroll data consistency with accounting records and internal reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of payroll processes and controls.
  • Own accounts receivable operations, from invoice creation to cash collection.
  • Manage Stripe: Create and maintain customer subscriptions, ensure correct billing configuration and pricing logic.
  • Liaise closely with Sales and Account Managers to understand contract terms, customer context and billing specifics.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues or customer disputes in a timely and structured manner.
  • Ensure AR data is accurate, up-to-date and properly reflected in financial records.
  • Contribute to improving AR processes, controls and reporting as the company scales.

Requirements

  • You have 2 to 4 years of experience as an accountant
  • Proven experience in payroll operations, ideally across multiple countries (France / UK / US).
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and revenue collection workflows.
  • Comfortable working with Stripe; experience with Deel is a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales and Operations teams.
  • Organised, autonomous and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Based in France and comfortable working in an international environment.
