Business Development Rep

• Responsible for the total Consulting Services global revenue target.
• Support existing business development teams in evaluating and closing opportunities.
• Partner with the Global Business Development team to source and close critical business opportunities.
• Provide thought leadership on overall go to market approach and help guide the organization on what overall solution is needed to be a market leader.
• Secure business relationships that result in revenue production for the company’s Consulting Services offerings.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in the selling and business development process individually and in support of the global business development team.
• Develop Strategic plans to penetrate the market and create a robust pipeline of Consulting Services projects in partnership with the Global BD teams.

Supply Chain

• Monitoring of exceptions of live shipments through Cryoport’s web portal and e-mail notifications
• Escalating exceptions internally to Logistics Managers
• Answering and routing client and carrier communications internally
• External communications to carriers and clients throughout shipment
• Following up with written and verbal communication
• Managing inbound calls and redirecting to appropriate parties
• Approving and creating orders in the portal. Booking shipments with couriers.
• General Regular interaction with internal departments such as Operations, Accounting, Management, Sales, etc.
• Administrative tasks such as data entry required, but not limited to
• A readiness to assume other duties as assigned
• A willingness to work after hours and/or weekend shifts if needed

• Consistently apply best practices in software development and contribute towards process improvements.

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
