About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and improve backend data workflows, recurring data processes, and reporting infrastructure used by the team
Build and maintain automation tools to improve data preparation, reporting support, and workflow efficiency
Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and help implement sustainable fixes and controls
Document data sources, transformation logic, validation checks, and workflow steps to improve maintainability and continuity
Support productionized data workflows by helping manage updates, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining operational stability
Follow structured practices around version control, testing, documentation, and change management to support reliable data processes
Partner with team members and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical data solutions
Provide reporting and dashboard data support as needed, in partnership with BI-focused team members
Implement and assess predictive models to support broad functional areas across the division
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations, analytics engineering, reporting infrastructure, or a related role
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
Proficient in Python for scripting, data processing, or workflow automation
Experience with data transformation, validation, ETL workflows, and repeatable backend processes
Familiarity with version control tools and collaborative development practices
Familiarity with structured development lifecycle processes, including testing, documentation, and controlled deployment of data workflows
Experience with predictive analytics/ML models is a plus
Experience working in a regulated environment with established controls and documentation standards is a plus
Experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
