About the role
- Work on 2-3 projects related to account pricing and/or book performance monitoring
- Partner with tenured actuaries and data scientists and learn about the sophistication of pricing insurance
- Develop, maintain, review, update, and enhance pricing tools
- Work on pricing for Commercial Lines and Executive Risk lines such as Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Cyber, Professional Liability, Management Liability
Requirements
- Relevant coursework/exams in actuarial science or data science a plus
- Data Science: R or Python coding experience (stats and web development packages an added plus)
- Actuarial: Excel or R experience required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- An ability to manage time and work effectively independently
