About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for facilitating business functions to ensure they operate in ways which meet the needs of the business
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Investigate internal and external manufacturing/assembly non-conformances using 8D / 5 Whys
  • Facilitate non-conformance review meetings to help drive continuous improvement
  • Complete internal auditing of IMS and proactively improve internal systems through enterprise change management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Detailed working knowledge of mechanical/ manufacturing engineering practices
  • Sound knowledge of production techniques such as machining, fabrication, welding and casting
  • HND qualified, hold an engineering degree or equivalent or have time served experience working in engineering roles
  • Experience of working in similar manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Experience in internal/external and supplier auditing
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings
  • Lean six-sigma greenbelt is preferred
