About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for facilitating business functions to ensure they operate in ways which meet the needs of the business
Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
Investigate internal and external manufacturing/assembly non-conformances using 8D / 5 Whys
Facilitate non-conformance review meetings to help drive continuous improvement
Complete internal auditing of IMS and proactively improve internal systems through enterprise change management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Detailed working knowledge of mechanical/ manufacturing engineering practices
Sound knowledge of production techniques such as machining, fabrication, welding and casting
HND qualified, hold an engineering degree or equivalent or have time served experience working in engineering roles
Experience of working in similar manufacturing environment is desirable
Experience in internal/external and supplier auditing
Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings
Lean six-sigma greenbelt is preferred
