Health & Safety Manager – EMEA

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide EHS leadership, guidance, and subject matter expertise for all non-manufacturing locations across the EMEA region
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, procedures, training, and standards in compliance with legal and corporate requirements
- Ensure EHS compliance related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste, hazardous materials, ergonomics, and environmental protection
- Lead incident prevention and investigation processes, monitor safety performance, conduct audits, and report key EHS metrics to management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, engineering, facilities, and executive management to support EHS objectives
- Drive strategic EHS initiatives, manage department budgets, proactively identify risks, and support continuous improvement and an incident-free culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, EHS Law, or a comparable qualification
- Several years' relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of EMEA health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations
- Experience working with international stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing safety improvements and achieving certifications such as ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
