About the role
- Responsibility for work preparation and assembly
- Provide both technical and disciplinary leadership for the team
- Develop, implement and optimize modern methods, processes and manufacturing technologies
- Continuous improvement of production and production-related processes with respect to efficiency, costs, occupational safety and ergonomics
- Lead projects related to engineering changes and new developments, localization, and optimization of existing products and assembly lines
- Cross-departmental collaboration and participation in corporate initiatives, and management of all tasks and projects within the area of responsibility
- Strategic development of both specialist areas as well as leadership and development of employees
Requirements
- Completed degree in a technical field
- Further professional qualifications
- Several years of professional and managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
- Confident, audience-appropriate communication in English
- Enthusiasm for Lean Management, Operational Excellence or Six Sigma
- Ability to lead projects independently and reliably
- Independent, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm for innovative solutions in assembly and work preparation
- Skilled interaction with stakeholders at all hierarchy levels
- Willingness to travel (5–10%)
