About the role
- Selection and development of suppliers worldwide
- Negotiation of contracts and quality assurance agreements
- Management of the entire procurement process from new parts to series production readiness
- Ensuring supply of spare parts
- Coordination of supplier relationships across internal departments
- Continuous improvement of procurement and delivery processes
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Collaboration on product development
- Monitoring compliance with contracts
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional experience in strategic procurement or supply chain
- Strong IT skills
- Comfortable using standard software and tools
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or a technical environment
- Willingness to travel frequently
