About the role
- Support execution of cybersecurity internal audit and risk assessment projects for US-based clients, working closely with US-based engagement managers and leadership.
- Coordinate engagement management activities including planning, scheduling, documentation management, delivery risk identification, and milestone monitoring.
- Manage and track client document requests, ensuring timely receipt and completeness of audit evidence.
- Review and analyze client-provided documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, system configurations, architecture diagrams, control evidence) to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risk areas.
- Support the performance of testing for IT and cybersecurity controls across domains such as access management, data protection, endpoint security, data protection, logging and monitoring, network security, vulnerability management, and others as applicable.
- Proactively flag at-risk engagements, timeline challenges, or scope concerns to engagement managers and US leadership.
- Support client-specific formatting, reporting standards, and system requirements.
- Prepare client-ready status reports, maintain engagement dashboards, and contribute to internal and external communications.
- Contribute to workflow improvements, standardization efforts, and to the development of scalable processes within the India cybersecurity team.
- Contribute to building and strengthening Crowe’s cybersecurity capabilities over time.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT internal audit, IT risk, or related consulting environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting or executing cybersecurity assessments, IT general controls (ITGC) testing, SOX IT controls, SOC readiness, or similar engagements.
- Demonstrated strong project management experience, including coordination of multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or equivalent control frameworks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience working across global teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review documentation and identify control gaps or risks.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines across time zones.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or similar (preferred).
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or global consulting teams (preferred).
- Familiarity with engagement tracking tools, workflow systems, or audit management platforms (preferred).
