About the role

Research and iterate on ideal system and application configurations for optimization and reliability.
Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for testing and releasing configuration and software.
Automate tasks and develop tools to increase engineering efficiency and visibility.
Manage secure, well-tested, and high-quality infrastructure.

7+ years experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environments.
Experience designing distributed data processing systems.
Experience operating in multi-cloud hybrid environments, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Kubernetes or similar containerization experience.
Experience with Kubernetes operator and helm development will be a plus.
Working with CI / CD, Jenkins (pipelines), Git, Bitbucket.
Bash, Python.
Ansible / Terraform.
On-call on a rotational basis.
