About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Track and collect information related to hacktivist and state-sponsored group tools, tradecraft, and techniques across varied environments, including the deep and dark web
Identify, develop, and maintain unique cyber threat intelligence sources
Enable threat analysis through collected intelligence
Collect actionable, timely, and relevant information on South Asia, Latin America, and North Africa-based actors
Use advanced OSINT tradecraft to follow leads, identify threat actors, and track them in online communities
Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends, including technical information
Create clear, highly contextualized internal reports
Collaborate on analytical reports and threat estimates
Employ secure operational tradecraft methods and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience navigating cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums
High-level knowledge of South Asia-based hacktivist and state-sponsored groups
Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by South Asia-based threat actors
Comprehensive OSINT investigations using advanced Hindi and/or Urdu
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and solve difficult problems creatively
Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal guidance
Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes
Additional Latin American and North African cyber threat actor background and language capabilities including Spanish, French, and Indonesian preferred
Understanding of geopolitical and transnational events in South Asia, Latin America, and North Africa preferred
Prior intelligence community, HUMINT, or cyber threat intelligence background highly preferred
Practical virtual HUMINT experience highly desirable
Undergraduate degree or military training and experience in cyber intelligence, intelligence studies, security studies, political science, international relations, or related fields
Other technical security certifications or relevant academic background
