Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field, or equal work experience
Strong programming skills in at least one modern language, such as Python or Go
Deep SQL expertise
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms, including RDBMS, NoSQL, or Graph databases
Ability to design systems for moving and changing data at scale using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure
Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
Thorough understanding of engineering best practices, including testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture design
Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to cross-functional audiences
Experience in a SaaS environment
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
Experience using predictive analytics, machine learning, and/or AI to solve business problems
Experience designing and executing enterprise-scale semantic layers
Thought leadership in analytics and data engineering
Experience with Snowflake, Amplitude, Tableau, or other modern analytics platforms
Ability to thrive in fast, team-based, iterative programming environments
Track record of high-quality work delivered on time
