About the role
- Remain informed on current information security topics.
- Automate tasks for the collection, processing, and analysis of data - such as malware activity, network traffic, or incident analysis.
- Operate, extend and create honeypots to identify and detect adversary TTPs.
- Develop and implement creative, unconventional ideas by leveraging new technologies, including artificial intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with multiple and diverse stakeholders of CrowdStrike’s global Counter Adversary Operations team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong information security background with 4+ years experience.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating system internals.
- Solid understanding of network protocols.
- Solid software development experience in Python.
- Ability to work remotely, in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills, creativity and strong analytical skills to investigate, assess, validate, and think outside the box.
- Threat Intelligence background preferred.
- Comprehensive, practical knowledge of research collection tradecraft.
- Knowledge of malware analysis, IR, and/or reverse engineering is a plus.
- Experience with large corporate environments is a plus.
