About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Falcon For IT team that delivers a unified endpoint management module to help customers manage their infrastructure, apps and endpoints.
- Work with an experienced team of the best cyber-security developers, at one of the most innovative and exciting software companies in the world today.
- Take part in development of scalable and efficient microservice architecture
- Understand end-to-end requirements, develop and maintain software with quality and performance in mind
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and various stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies
- Build up your knowledge and grow your confidence in software engineering processes and quality practices
- Thrive in hands-on coding environment, by crafting solutions with the big picture in mind
- Learn to lean on the wider team to navigate and manage ambiguity while delivering innovative solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of industry experience building backend modules of distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in Golang (or similar like Java, C# or Python)
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
- Experience in building cloud-based solutions preferably at scale
- Ability to work well with a group of engineers in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Bonus Points: Experience working in the IT Automation or Cybersecurity sectors
- Experienced Gopher
- Interested in or even better, contributing to the Open Source community
