About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be the expert in endpoint or network security space – eg. AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
- Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Articulate basic security problems to a set of audiences
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
- Conduct demonstrations and proof of values with ability to present technical concepts to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executives
- Effective time management and organizational skills a must
Requirements
What you’ll need- Meet eligibility requirements and be in good standing based on HRs standards
- Meet or Exceed performance goals in your previous role
- Ability to travel minimally as required
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in Malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
- Write and modify basic scripts
- Preferred languages are PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- virtualization/VDI technologies
- large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Active Directory
- Weekly Demos and POCs with customers
- Partnering up with sales reps and being able to collaborate and effectively sell CrowdStrike
