About the role
- Learn to articulate how current security solutions are designed and deployed, and why they are failing so that you can provide value to potential customers
- Service SMB and MidMarket segments focusing on pre or post sales
- Partner with Account Executives to acquire new logos and Account Managers to expand existing accounts
- Conduct demonstrations and proof of values with the ability to present technical concepts to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executives
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; act as the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
- Effective time management and organizational skills; work independently as a self-starter
- Be the expert in endpoint security and provide subject matter expertise to prospects/customers
- Potential minimal travel (possibly once a year for Sales Kickoff)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical studies with 1+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineering
- 1+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineering
- Be the expert in endpoint security space – eg. AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Articulate basic security problems to a set of audiences
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to travel minimally as required (potentially once a year for annual Sales Kickoff Event)
- Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
- Ability to write and modify basic scripts. Preferred languages are PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies
- Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Proficient understanding of Active Directory
- Customer facing experience and being comfortable leading presentations
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS or participating in security events such as capture the flag is a bonus
- CrowdStrike participates in the E-Verify program (right to work in the U.S.)
