About the role
- Develop a comprehensive life-cycle solution for Desktop software security reviews, identifying improvement areas in existing programs with focus on automation opportunities
- Define and establish baseline metrics for measuring program success while providing technical consulting and problem-solving support to teams throughout the systems development lifecycle
- Manage day-to-day reporting and ad-hoc analysis requests while ensuring all system changes adhere to architecture, governance, security, and global process standards
- Create and maintain essential documentation, training materials, and user communications to support implementation and adoption
- Actively engage in hands-on design, development, and troubleshooting of existing systems, collaborating with internal team members and third-party suppliers as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BA/BS or MA/MS degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technology field with graduation expected between December 2026 - June 2027; security certifications (GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)²) a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to create technical documentation and effectively communicate findings to drive action
- Strong analytical mindset with experience searching through data/logs to identify patterns and anomalies, plus ability to trend/visualize data effectively
- Natural curiosity and aptitude for comprehensive process mapping to identify and address potential gaps or oversights
- Project management skills with understanding of enterprise applications, plug-ins, and browser extensions preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
- Fundamental understanding of key technologies such as Windows, Linux, and Apple operating systems, networks, application development tools
- Python or other programming languages
