About the role
- As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the face of LogScale and NG-SIEM for prospective customers.
- Working alongside our sales team, you’ll take ownership of the technical relationship through the sales cycle.
- Maintain that relationship with the customer as they discover what LogScale and NG-SIEM can do for them.
- Provide feedback to our Product Management team.
- Become a trusted advisor by providing technical value in your interactions with prospective customers.
- Answer technical questions, demonstrate capabilities, and lay out a technical vision of LogScale and NG-SIEM.
- Act as a LogScale subject matter expert.
- Be a critical part of the sales team; providing feedback on deal progress, uncovering the wants and needs of prospects, and translating that to tangible value from the LogScale and NG-SIEM platforms.
- Bring more customers to CrowdStrike.
- Play an integral part in defining and executing on our go-to-market strategy - exploring new use cases, integrations, partnerships, etc.
Requirements
- Experience with modern SIEM platforms is required, including data ingestion, parsing, manipulation, visualisation, and supporting technologies such as SOAR and case management systems.
- Comfortable with Linux and Windows troubleshooting, data ingestion formats, programming languages, cloud concepts, and orchestration tools.
- Experience includes distributed data stores, data shipping services, cloud providers, SSO concepts, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
- Participation in one or more of the common sales processes such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Selling, or Value Selling in a presales or architect role.
- Ability to adapt, thrive and excel in a fast-moving, nimble environment.
- Comfortable in a team selling environment, working in close collaboration with peers in the CrowdStrike sales organisation.
- Consultative sales approach – ability to challenge companies/businesses to think differently.
- Strength in evangelising technology and new account acquisition (hunting) – ability to discover and uncover new opportunities with prospects and existing business customers.
- Highly motivated and professional, with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the attested ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter able to work independently but also team oriented – work together win together attitude.
- Excellent problem resolution skills – resourceful and constructive.
- Written and spoken fluency in German and English
