About the role

  • Focused on the creation of tools to enhance and support automated workflows that deploy, manage, and support CrowdStrike’s Production Services.
  • Architecting and implementing solutions to support team's production deployments.
  • Work on a high-performing remote team solving interesting problems.
  • On-Premise Provisioning and Administration.
  • Administer and provision Kubernetes, ArgoCD/FluxCD and container environments.
  • Manage CI/CD (Jenkins with JCASC) and artifact repositories.
  • Work with Atlassian Stack and IaaS provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
  • Develop and maintain scripts and REST APIs (Python, Groovy).
  • Linux and Windows server administration in hybrid environments.
  • Document processes/procedures.
  • Periodically undergo and pass government background and fingerprint checks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.
  • Must exhibit attention to detail and ability to make good, timely decisions and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
  • Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, FLuxCD, and Containers.
  • Jenkins with JCASC.
  • Artifact repository services such as: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or Quay.io.
  • Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • IaaS Provisioning tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet etc.
  • Experience with common scripting languages Python, REST APIs, Groovy.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows server administration in Hybrid Environments.
  • Knowledge of proper monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery of critical services.
  • Ability to document processes/procedures.
  • US Citizen on US soil.
  • This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s).
