About the role
- Develop and execute proactive PR strategies that raise brand awareness and align with business goals.
- Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with key journalists in marketing trades and business media.
- Draft high-impact press materials including releases, advisories, pitches, and bylines.
- Partner with US and global leadership, marketing, and product teams to identify newsworthy story angles.
- Activating and placing original research and intelligence in US media.
- Preparing executives for media opportunities, including messaging, talking points, and interview preparation.
- Pitching and securing earned panel and keynote opportunities.
- Monitoring and reporting on media coverage, using analytics to refine outreach.
- Supporting reactive, crisis, and internal communications when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of PR or external communications experience (agency or in-house).
- Demonstrated success placing stories with top marketing and business publications.
- Strong, existing, and proven press relationships within the marketing and business media landscape.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Understanding of AI, tech, and digital marketing industry trends.
- Skilled in media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
- Able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
